What is RADIONICS? In radionic theory, all living things radiate an electromagnetic field which has different characteristics in health and disease conditions. Energy patterns are given a numerical value or "rate", usually calibrated on the dials of the diagnostic apparatus. Radionics is based on this principle and that everyone and everything has its own particular energy emanation and practitioners use sensitive electronic equipment to detect the presence and intensity of such emanations. In the U.S., U.K., and Europe, Radionics equipment is being used extensively for the analysis and treatment of a wide range of conditions.

Qualifications

Many practitioners have recognised qualifications denoted by letters after their name. Others do not. Letters usually denote the successful completion of a recognised course of study and/or membership of a professional organisation. However, the lack of letters after a practitioner's name doesn't always mean that the practitioner is not properly trained, qualified or doesn't belong to a professional organisation. For example, Practitioners who refer to themselves as 'Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist' are registered on the British Society Register of Clinical Hypnotherapists. No designating letters accompany this title but the practitioner has undertaken a two year training programme with the London School of Clinical Hypnosis

The Alternative Health Service recognises that this can be confusing to the public. They may not know exactly what the letters stand for, what professional organisation is represented nor the standing of such organisations in the field of Alternative/Complementary health practice. The following list, by no means complete, will serve as a starting point in an attempt to help educate members of the public.
